Make a Life Time Commitment!
Take a day for reflection every now and then.
Everyday goes by for new thoughts and ideas. It is fascinating to think that you can reflect the days and no one can accuse you for being wrong. I mean who decides what is right and wrong? If we are lucky we wake up in the morning.
When you go to bed in the night what do you think?
Are there any reflections? Does it have to be any dramas for your thoughts to show up? There are so many opportunities out there. Think and reflect.
Like my day today. It started off little later then normal. No worries. I was working by the computer to figure out some stuff. In the afternoon I had a late lunch with my youngest daughter and later on my oldest one came a long. We took a cup of coffee together. It was nice weather and I called a friend of mine to go for a walk. He showed up. We were walking for an hour and a half. It is refreshing and nice to catch up with a good friend. That’s the good part of living the life I do. I am deciding my time to work and travel where ever and where to go. You can do that too.
It is a typical net working life. Make the commitment of the time to work. Decide also witch days you like to work. Keep in mind to plan. If you fail to plan then you plan to fail.
It is vital with the planning.
Set up a goal. Make a goal of where you ant to be in a year, in five years and in a ten years plan. Also make a wish of the money. How much do you want to make in what period of time? Are there any people to involve in your plans?
Like a family, are you married or have a spouse?
Please involve them too. This does take time to develop.
It does not come over the night. If you have a full time job let that support your long term goal to become an independent representative. To live the life you deserve.
We were born to be free and work with the things we love to do. I think Universe is always looking for ways to keep us happy. It works both mentally and physically.
Why not let the nature to have its course? I am not willing to stop or change it. Everyday I am thankful and careful of the choices I make. Is it really that easy people ask me?
Of course I reply. But it takes a while to figure out what you want and what you expect from life.
That’s why I think it is important to reflect upon things, events that you are going through every day.
If you are not doing it for you who is? Do not depend on other people. You can not blame them anyway.
It is all up to you. So get up and take some actions. Make the commitment that your life has been waiting for. Because you are worth it. The best you can be.
5 Ways to Break a Healthy Weight Loss Plateau!
Even though everyone loses weight in a different way, it is common and perfectly normal for any dieter to reach a plateau. Instead of allowing it to frustrate you, use it as an opportunity to double up your efforts and reconnect with your strategy to carry you through to the finish line. Listed below are 5 of the best ways to re-ignite the healthy weight loss process when you feel challenged. Choose the tips that work best for you or simply go for them all!
Healthy Weight Loss Plateau Breaker #1: Start Exercising
Although you can lose weight without exercise, it will always accellerate your efforts. If you are not injured or do not suffer from severe asthma, be thankful that you can get outside and move your body. Take advantage of your ability to be active because many people do not have that luxury. The more you exercise, the better you will get at it, and the less it will feel like work.
If you are already exercising, add something different to the mix to make your body working harder. Add intensity, in the form of extra weight, run faster or for a longer distance, or more duration. Going until you fail is the easiest way to ensure you’re pushing hard enough. Add extra sit-ups and push-ups before you go to sleep and when you wake up. Done in the AM on an empty stomach, this can kick-start your metabolism by teaching your body to more efficiently mobilize its fat stores for energy.
Healthy Weight Loss Plateau Breaker #2: Make Healthier Eating Choices
When you are trying to lose weight, there is nothing more important than proper nutrition. Your body can perform miracles with choices like soy protein shakes, fruits and vegetables. You’ll not only bust past your plateau, but you’ll do it in a healthy way. Eliminate refined sugar grains (most pre-packaged snack foods) so carbohydrates can not get their way unnoticed into your diet.
Cutting back on how often you eat can have a negative impact on your diet plateau as well. Small, frequent meals are more satisfying and produce better weight-loss results than the same number of calories consumed in three large meals. Take advantage of healthys nacks like protein bars, soy nuts and fresh vegetable and fruit slices. Eating more of the right kinds of food is a much smarter plan of action to break a healthy weight loss plateau than starving yourself.
Healthy Weight Loss Plateau Breaker #3: Drink Green Tea
Whenever I want to lose 5 or 10 pounds of stubborn belly fat, I drink more green tea. Packed with more vitamins and antioxidants than any other drink, green tea is an all-natural way to give yourself energy to compliment your enthusiasm for losing weight. The best part, however, is that green tea ahas the amazing ability to actually speed up your metabolism! You will notice results right away with just one cup, but the more you drink it, the more you will want it!
Healthy Weight Loss Plateau Breaker #4: Keep Your Incentive Strong
the body achieves what the mind believes. If you don’t believe you can make it past the hurdle of a weight loss plateau, you probably won’t. You’ll give up before you have a chance to even try. Focus on re-capturing the determination you felt when you first began your weight-loss program. The excitement of watching the pounds drop one by one should be the focus of your motivation. If it was something that has come and gone, like a high school reunion or a wedding, choose a new goal.
Start keeping a diet journal of everything you eat and drink. You may quickly discover that hidden carbohydrates and sugars are keeping your healthy weight-loss progress stuck at the plateau. Eliminate trigger foods or anything that you think may be contributing to your inability to lose more weight. If you are eating pretzels every day at 2pm, don’t starve yourself by not eating if you are hungry at that time…just replace the pretzels with something healthier like fruit or chicken.
Healthy Weight Loss Plateau Breaker #5: Drink More Water
It is extremely important to replenish your fluids by drinking plenty of water on any weight loss program, especially if you are incorporating exercise on a daily basis. An inadequate supply of water can slow down your weight-loss, so carry a water bottle with you wherever you go throughout the day. Keeping well hydrated not only helps you burn fat efficiently, it also helps control hunger.
Follow these 5 steps and you will have a better chance of breaking your healthy weight loss plateau than if youcontinue stressing over the obstacle. Each time you sit down to eat or have a snack, take a moment to become mindful that the food you are about to eat is either taking you one step closer to your goal, or one step away. As you make this mental connection, and dedicate each serving of food or drink to your weight loss, you will naturally be inclined to enjoy the foods and drinks that pushed you past your plateau.
How to Make Healthier Choices When Eating at Fast Food Restaurants
We all know that eating at fast food restaurants is terrible for our health. It makes us fat, lazy, bloated and sick. Just one cheeseburger will double your daily calorie requirement, and the salads, yogurts and diet sodas they sell are not really all that much healthier. They are the biggest reason for the obesity epidemic in America today, and there does not seem to be any way of making them disappear from our ever growing suburban landscapes.
If you are really serious about getting or staying in shape, fast food restaurants are not on your path to success. Sometimes, though, these restaurants may seem like the only option other than starvation. Long road trips, co-worker lunches, and other situations may force you into choosing between bad or worse. This can be devastating to anyone trying to lose weight or trying to change their bad eating habits to good.
Listed below are 7 tips that will help you make healthier choices if you are ever forced to eat fast food. It is inevitably going to happen in todays fast paced world. You might as well be prepared!
Fast Food Healthier Choice Tips #1: Get Less For Your Money
So-called value meals really only offer you extra calories, saturated fat, sugar, and other diet killers. The only way this could be beneficial is if you are saving up for bypass surgery. Getting twice as many fries for only 20 cents more is not a good deal. Fast food packs a lot of unhealthiness into a small package as it is, so super-sizing it is only adding fuel to the fire.
Think about it this way. Is 20 cents really worth eating an entire weeks worth of fat and calories in one sitting? Paying extra to ruin your health makes no sense. Ordering the small size may not be as cheap per pound of food, but it will save a fortune when working off pounds of fat later.
Fast Food Healthier Choice Tips #2: Discover Your Inner Child
Sadly, a reasonably sized portion for an adult is now only found on the children’s menu! Want to get healthy sides like fruit or carrots? Again, only on the childrens menu! It is great that kids are getting healthier options, but what about adults? We need good nutrition too! Don’t be ashamed to order the junior hamburger or even the kids’ meal. You are the only one who can control what you eat and how much of it.
Fast Food Healthier Choice Tips #3: No All Salads Are Created Equal
Just because it has lettuce does not mean it is healthy. A Big Mac has lettuce, and you know it would not be any healthier if it was called a Big Mac Salad. Don’t be fooled by clever naming tricks. Use common sense when selecting a salad, and make sure all the ingredients are vegetables, fruits, and lean proteins you recognize. Also, do not go through all that effort just to drown your healthy meal in a pool of fatty dressing! Ask for vinaigrette.
Fast Food Healthier Choice Tips #4: Have It Your Way
Most restaurants honor your requests if you ask them. Hold the mayo and high-corn-syrup ketchup, and ask for more pickles, tomatoes and lettuce. Substitute the breaded chicken breast for the grilled chicken breast. Ask for extra vegetables. Ask for wheat buns instead of white. And by all means, hold the cheese! Most of the time you can not savor the flavor when it is packed into a sandwich anyway.
Fast Food Healthier Choice Tips #5: You Are What You Drink
The most profitable menu items for restaurants are soft drinks. Costing almost nothing to make, they want you to get as big a size as possible and pay for it. What you’ll get is tons of sugar and chemicals. And maybe eventually, diabetes! Soda and diet soda will ruin your figure and your health. Order iced tea or water instead. If someone is holding a gun to your head and making you order a soda, get the small.
Of course the best advice I can give you is to make your own fast food at home in the form of a soy-based protein meal replacement. This is how I lost 70 pounds in 4 months and have kept it off for over 15 years. It usually takes me about 3 minutes to make, which is less time than it takes to wait in the drive-thru line at any McDonalds.
I rarely go to fast food restaurants anymore, but when I do I follow the tips listed above. Losing weight and keeping it off for good is about making healthy decisions about what you eat, no matter where you are eating.
